Effects of Vital Cell on Plasma Protein Metabolism


Cases under observation:
Fifty cases over the age of 55 were chosen, nineteen of which were in their late middle-ages (55-59) and thirty-one of which were over the age of 60. Among the elderly, ten cases were between the ages of 65 and 69, while six of the cases were over70. The eldest was 77. Of the fifty cases, twenty-three were male and twenty-seven were female. The average age was 62. No organic diseases existed in any these cases.

Dosage and Method: Subjects took Vital Cell daily for thirty days as a full course of treatment.

Items: Plasma albumin determination and plasma globulin determination.

Methods: Draw venous blood from each case before and after the administration of the herbal drink for the determination of the above items according to laboratory plasma globulin routine..

  1. Albumin: The pre-administration average of 4.573 + 0.334 went up to the post-administration average of 4.768 + 0.334. P was less than 0.01.
  2. Globulin: The pre-administration average of 2.734 + 0.366 decreased to the post-administration average of 2.564 + 0.388. P was less than 0.05.
  3. White globulin ratio: The ratio was 1.702 + 0.322 before the administration of the herbal drink and 1.897 + 0.284 after administration. P was less than 0.01.

The above three items are all significant. (See Table 9).
